Rodney Stephens

Rodney works out of the PASC Detroit studio. He is a master with color sticks and colored pencils but also likes to experiment with other materials as a way to push himself out of his comfort zone. He creates work that is highly imaginative often creating characters that are a mash-up of various cartoon, puppet, and mascot characters. Rodney also explores identity in his work rendering fantastical depictions of himself in portraiture.  Rodney has exhibited at the Padzieski Gallery, Dearborn MI (2023) and MOCAD, Detroit (2023).
