Ivory McKinley
Ivory is an artist who works at the PASC Detroit Studio. Ivory began working in the studio during the first month we opened. Early on she showed a focus and talent for art, creating drawings and mixed media paintings in a kind of curious abstraction. In her artworks, planes and shapes of color are offset by unusual doodle-like images referencing famous objects like the British crown jewels, or well known artworks, like Hokusai’s “Great Wave”, or Alexander Calder’s sculptures.
