Jeremy Taylor

Jeremy is a Westland based artist working out of the PASC Westland Studio. His artwork has a graphic and graffiti like quality to it. He renders his pieces largely in pencil and marker creating images that reference 1980’s NY subway graffiti, or psychedelic sign painting. Each piece features contrasting colored text and imagery placed side by side in compressed compositions, as if the artist Stuart Davis were drawing hidden picture puzzles for Highlights for Children Magazine.
Jeremy has exhibited at the PASC Detroit Gallery, Detroit, MI (2024); BasBlue, Detroit, MI (2024); MOCAD, Detroit, MI (2023); Art Space 200, University of Michigan Medical School, Ann Arbor, MI (2023); Madison Heights Civic Center, Madison Heights, MI (2023); Detroit Repertory theatre, Detroit, MI (2022); PASC Detroit Pop Up Gallery, At The Vella Group, Detroit, MI (2022); the annual exhibit in the Art Gallery at Westland City Hall, Westland, MI (2022/2023); Swords Into Plowshares Gallery, Detroit, MI (2022); The PASC Detroit Pop-Up Gallery, Detroit, MI (2022); The Scarab Club, Detroit, MI (2021); and in one online exhibition on the PASC website in 2021.
