John Peterson

John is a Taylor-based artist who works at the PASC Westland Studio. John is extremely fast and prolific, making many drawings per week. He focuses on everything including portraits, landscapes, and comic book tales of good and evil. John’s favorite medium is colored pencil but he has expanded into watercolor, ink, and acrylic painting. His goals are to be a professional artist and to work in an art gallery. John has has exhibited at the U of M Institute for the Humanities, Ann Arbor, MI (2025); PASC Detroit Gallery, MI (2024/2025); MOCAD, Detroit, MI (2023); the PASC Southgate Gallery, Southgate, MI (2022); The Gallery at Westland City Hall, Westland, MI (2022/2023). His art books have been featured in the Detroit Art Book Fair. His artwork has also been featured in NADA through White Columns Gallery, Miami, FL (2024).
