Ray Wells

Ray has always been interested in music. As an accomplished piano player, it is his goal to have a career as a concert pianist. His artwork is informed by his musical sensibility, whether portraits of musicians, or forays into depictions of women's fashion, each artwork sets the stage for his artistic ambitions. Ray's dedication to precision is visible in his practice, traces of his sketching show his focus on representing the exact figure or object in the exact perspective.
