Marquise Rucker

Marquise is a Detroit based artist who works out of the PASC Southgate studio. Marquise’s artwork has a raw illustration aesthetic, rendering symbolic images like rollercoasters, snakes, dragons, tigers and cheetahs. Sometimes his images reference Marquise’s own tattoos, or tattoos he wants. Marquise’s artistic mantra is "Don't never give up as an artist". He enjoys the process of always learning and experimenting with materials as an artist. He has exhibited his artwork at the PASC Southgate Gallery, Southgate, MI (2023); the Art Gallery at City Hall in Westland, MI. (2023), and at Chap Lofts, Detroit, MI (2023).
